Terms and Conditions

Abhriya Pte Ltd (“Abhriya”) offers you 6degrees - your connected phonebook.

  1. 6degrees is designed to provide you with a hassle free experience of extending the capabilities of your phonebook to include search within you personal network and auto update and backup of your contacts.
  2. By installing and/or using the App and/or any part thereof, including without limitation the App, the Services, applications, plug-ins, updates, versions, websites and upgrades and/or any part thereof, you hereby irrevocably acknowledge, state and confirm that you have read, understood and hereby agree to be bound by the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding your conduct in using the App.
    3. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OR ANY PART THEREOF PLEASE QUICKLY EXIT AND UNINSTALL THE APP.
  3. - Your Contacts information is absolutely safe and private, and at any time you may choose to make your personal profile and any of the information on your phonebook private and invisible to searches by individuals in your network.
  4. - You acknowledge that this is a beta version of 6degrees and is not perfect. Bugs, performance issues and other issues may occur. We provide a free service as is and we won\'t be liable for your use of the service.
  5. - While using 6degrees you may use services such as calls, messaging and data. Third parties (for example: your mobile service provider) might charge you for your use of such services. We highly recommend using unlimited calling, messaging and data plans.
  6. We shall not be liable for any changes made by third parties. For more information regarding the charges applicable to you (if any) please contact your service provider(s).
  7. There are certain conducts which are strictly prohibited. Please read the following restrictions carefully. Your failure to comply with the provisions set forth herein may result in the termination of your Account and may expose you to civil and/or criminal liability under any applicable jurisdiction.
  8. You may not, whether by yourself or anyone on your behalf:

    9. i. Use the App in any way to distribute or link to spam or unsolicited mail or similar conduct.

    ii. Use the App if you reside in a jurisdiction where your use of the App may be illegal or otherwise prohibited. You hereby represent and warrant that you (or your competent legal custodian, as applicable) shall be fully responsible and liable to determine whether your use of the App is lawful and your compliance with all applicable laws and terms.

    iii. Copy, modify, alter, adapt, make available, translate, port, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the App in any way.

    iv. Create a browser, frame, border environment or GUI around the Appfrom time to time and/or the Platform;

    v. Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App or the servers or networks that host the App, or disobey any laws or regulations or requirements, procedures, policies, or regulations of such servers or networks.

    vi. You will not post or upload any content which is harmful or calls for harmful actions to you and/or others or which are dangerous to your and/or anyone else\'s health, well-being or life, whether certain, potential or unexpected.

    vii. Do not stalk, threaten, harass, invade the privacy, or the reveal other Users\' personal information without their consent. We also condemn any hateful expression such as attacking, demonizing or demeaning anyone for any reason, including without limitation whether based on age, racial or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender and/or sexual orientation.

    viii. Interfere with or violate Users\' rights to privacy and other rights, or harvest or collect data and information about Users without their express consent, whether manually or with the use of any robot, spider, crawler, site search or retrieval application, or other automatic device, process or method to access the Site and/or retrieve index and/or data-mine information, or allow others to do the same.

    ix. Impersonate any person or entity or provide false information.

    x. Falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

    xi. Copy, share, post, modify, translate, license or sublicense, distribute, publish, broadcast, transmit, perform, display, sell or disseminate any data made available by or in the Platform (including by way of screenshots) and/or any information and content related thereto to another recipient or otherwise use such content for any purpose, other than for your personal, non-commercial home use.

    xii. Transmit, distribute, display or otherwise make available through or in connection with the App any content, including User Generated Content, which may infringe third party rights, including Intellectual Property Rights, publicity, privacy and/or copy rights, or which may contain any unlawful content.

    xiii. Use the App and/or the Platform for any illegal, unlawful or unauthorized purposes.

    xiv. Take any action that imposes, or may impose, at our sole discretion, an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our Platform infrastructure.

    xv. Bypass any measures we may use to prevent or restrict access to the Platform and/or any part thereof.

    xvi. Do not use the App directly or indireclty to post adult, illegal, rude, abusive, improper, copyright protected, spam or violent content.

    xvii. Do not use the App for any commercial purposes not expressly allowed by us in a written form.

    xviii. Do not encourage illegal or irresponsible consumptions of prohibited materials such as alcohol, pornography, tobacco, drugs and the like.

    General guidelines

  9. - You must be at least 13 years old to use 6degrees.
  10. - You shall not infringe or violate any of the Terms.
  11. - You will safeguard your Account information and will supervise and be completely responsible for any use of your Account.

  13. - The creators of the App may remove any User Generated Content, Article and/or discontinue your use of the App, the Services and/or the Platform with or without any reason, and under their sole discretion.
  14. - The creators of the App may discontinue any service provided by it, with or without any reason, at their sole discretion.
  15. 6degrees is specifically designed to provide an enhanced phonebook experience, by creating a collaborative sharing network of contacts information. You may voluntarily choose not to make your information known to others in your network by making your profile un-sharable in the settings screen. You may also choose to make your contacts invisible in searches by your friends by marking them as private. However, when you choose to share your phonebook information, then you agree that your contacts’ information will be seen in searches by individuals in your personal network of friends and partially by everyone on 6degrees. You might be requested by others in the network to share your contact’s or your own details with them. We can neither preview or control what users share with others.
